A reality check on China policy and Harris-Walz

The film The Russians are Coming! The Russians are Coming! was released in 1966 and in subsequent decades the phrase has come to be synonymous with Chicken Little’s mantra, “The sky is falling!” Even before the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the saying was used because everyone knew the Russians weren’t coming — they might exchange nukes with us, but they certainly weren’t coming to our shores.

This is the reason those of us with an IQ above room temperature chuckled when the Russia Hoax began against President Trump. Not knowing it was then a conspiracy reaching the highest levels of government, the mere idea seemed silly:  The Russians are coming!

Russia is no real danger to the United States, save for the mutually assured destruction that comes with a nuclear war. Russia can’t even resupply its own troops during their attack of a next-door nation; obviously invading and defeating Europe would be a bridge too far.

China, however, is different:  They own more than one trillion of America’s government bonds, have been buying hundreds of square miles of American farmland, own critical businesses right here in the United States and recently, viral research labs — with tentacles clearly connected to the Chinese Communist Party — have been discovered in the U.S. It is unknown how much American commercial real estate is owned by CCP shell corporations, but it wouldn’t be a stretch to guess the dollar amount runs into hundreds of billions.

If the nation of China went on strike for a month, our Republic would collapse. They don’t just make whoopie cushions and running shoes — they make our drugs., computers, cell phones, steel, household electronics, textiles, auto parts and industrial machinery. They provide funding to our universities and control our super PACs.

In reality, China isn’t coming; they’re already here. Should they choose to play economic hardball, they are well-positioned to blackmail America in every way possible. Some say this kind of hardball is impossible because the Chinese people would suffer as much as us, but these critics forget that the Chinese Communist Party doesn’t care if their people suffer.

When freedom poked its head up at Tiananmen Square, the CCP simply rolled in with infantry and tanks and murdered the protesters. China is a clear and present danger to America, yet VP-candidate Tim Walz has maintained a cozy and admiring relationship with the CCP for decades. Walz welcomed Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials into his Nebraska classroom while working as a teacher in the 1990s. He’s visited China somewhere in the ballpark of 15 times, received grants from the CCP and honeymooned in China in 1993. He purposely chose the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre as his wedding day, his wife even remarking that, “He wanted a date he’d always remember.”

According to MSN.com, the Washington Free Beacon ran a report that Walz praised China in front of his students, describing it as a place where “everyone is the same, and everyone shares.” He also went on to tout the communist system, explaining that Chinese people received free housing, paid no taxes and enjoyed 30 lbs of free food each month. These are only the surface facts about Walz and the CCP, but these alone should concern every American.

Now, we learn that Lateefah Simon (currently running for Congress in California and a longtime friend and mentee of Vice President Kamala Harris) has come under scrutiny for her connections to James Chau, president of a Chinese Communist Party front group. Chau, director of the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and a well-connected Communist, has known Simon since 2008, and they have maintained an open social media friendship for many years. Is this a big problem?

Keep in mind a few other facts, beginning with the reality that Kamala Harris was raised by a father who was a Marxist professor. Does she carry those sympathies today? Remember that according to The Washington Post, CEFC China Energy — which has close ties to the Chinese Communist Party — paid entities controlled by Hunter Biden or his uncle James Biden $4.8 million during the course of 14 months beginning in 2017. Hunter received many more millions as a business partner and consultant to Chinese enterprises regardless of the ventures’ success or failure.

As Hunter’s laptop clearly stated, 10 percent of profits needed to be set aside “for the Big Guy.” A thoughtful person can easily surmise the rot goes all the way into the Oval Office. To what extent is the current administration tied to China? We know some of it because we have it in writing. To what extent would the Harris administration continue these treasonous trends? Odds are we’ll never know, as only a handful of media sources care.

“The Chinese are coming!” is no joke. At this point, the saying should be “Even more Chinese are coming!” Are we going to stop them or continue to open our borders to them as we have to the many who have come through Latin America?
